Educational Experiences
The FEG offers classes and experiences to teach what we have learned.
As a homeschool mom I always enjoyed opportunities for my children to learn along with others. This gives them the change to make new friends and participate in activities that I did not have to plan. My youngest is now graduating and I am turning my attention to the next generation of home learners.
I homeschooled my children for many years and I have been a teacher with Harmony Education's Options Day for the past few years. I have a BS degree in Accounting, an AA degree in Elementary Education, and have been involved in teaching children since I was in middle school through tutoring, coaching gymnastics, Boy Scout and Girl Scout leader, Church children and youth groups, through military chapel events, and teaching at Commonwealth Schools and homeschool co-ops. The Grange has hosted several homeschool group in soapmaking classes and I felt it was time to branch out and share the knowledge I have gained over the years of teaching.
