Homeschool Class for 6 students ages 8-12 years old
The class is held weekly for 12 weeks: January 2025- April 2025 (with holiday breaks)
Students will read (be read to/listen) assigned chapters of a Newbery Award novel at home. Each week we meet, we will discuss the chapters read, plan an activity for the next week, then do an activity they chose from the last reading. Activities pertain to the reading to bring the story to life, gain skills, or to have new experiences read about in the story. Students will learn vocabulary, improve reading skills, and try new things. Cost of class includes a copy of the books we will read (discount if you choose to provide a copy) and supplies for activities that they will take home.
